- Clearance Requirements: National Background Check with Inquires and Fingerprints.
- Type of Employment: 40 hours per week.
- Estimate Pay: $13.30 to 18.66/hr
- Employee Paid Group Benefits Offered: Health/Dental/Vision.
- Paid Time Off per Year: 80 hours per year occurring on day one.
- Sick Leave per Year: 56 hours per year occurring on day one.
- Paid Federal Holidays: Eleven 11 Paid Federal Holidays
- Travel: Travel is authorized
- Relationship: Employee of our company and/or 1099 Independent Contractor.
Working Hours
The individual designated as the PTSC will be generally available from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (MDT) on weekdays (excluding government holidays). The days times and schedules of when hearings in each court are held may change at the discretion of each court and/or judge but will remain within business hours.

Summary:
Tooele County is looking for a Pretrial Services Coordinator (PTSC) to monitor and report on the progress of individuals charged with crimes in the District and Justice Courts during the pretrial stages. This role under the Tooele County Justice Court aims to provide pretrial services to both courts.
The goal of the pretrial services program is to reduce recidivism and failure to appear (FTA) rates by giving more attention to those incarcerated and released. The County also believes this program will help judges feel more confident in releasing individuals pretrial by ensuring proper oversight and reducing public safety risks.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Education: A bachelors degree in criminal justice social work psychology or a related field.
- Experience: Previous experience in criminal justice case management or a related area is often required.
- Skills: Strong organizational communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in data management and reporting is also important.
- Knowledge: Understanding of the criminal justice system pretrial services and risk assessment tools.
- Certifications: Any relevant certifications in criminal justice or social work may be beneficial.
