We are looking for a highly motivated selfstarter Treasury Manager in the Finance department to help us on our journey to revolutionize road freight logistics. In this role you will not only be actively involved in the daytoday asset sourcing analysis settlement and ongoing monitoring and reporting processes but you will also play a key role in building and developing the treasury function from the ground up. This will include establishing new processes policies and strategies that will ensure optimal cash flow management and risk mitigation as we scale.
Additionally you will be entrusted with the management of our securitized assets and will be the primary point of contact for external investors and stakeholders.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL
- Manage daily cash flow ensuring liquidity and efficient use of funds.
- Develop and execute strategies to optimize cash management processes and working capital utilization enhancing overall financial efficiency.
- Centralizing of payments and supporting transformation from a localized to a centralized approach for treasury.
- Managing both factoring and reverse factoring processes to optimize working capital and improve cash flow.
- Overseeing the cash pool and managing the integration of European Surface Transport into the cash pool system.
- Overseeing shortterm and longterm financing activities including debt management and funding strategies to meet both operational and strategic requirements.
- Monitoring and managing banking relationships and negotiating fees terms and services.
- Conducting detailed cash flow forecasting and performing scenario analysis to support accurate budgeting and financial planning.
- Collaborating with internal teams to analyze financial risks and implement hedging strategies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to treasury functions.
- Lead the coordination of the implementation and integration of a treasury management software system working closely with both internal stakeholders and external consultants to ensure alignment with business needs.
- Prepare and deliver indepth reports on cash positions liquidity ratios and financial risks providing actionable insights to senior management for decisionmaking.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Fluency in English is required
- Bachelor or Master in Business Administration Finance Banking or equivalent.
- 48 years of work experience in banking treasury and/or investment management ideally with a focus on cash and working capital management liquidity asset & liability management forex exchange impacts.
- Advanced Excel modeling skills including proficiency in financial modeling data analysis and forecasting.
- Lead scenario planning exercises to forecast various economic market and regulatory changes developing proactive strategies for the company to maintain financial resilience under different future conditions.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to work accurately and efficiently under tight deadlines and highpressure environments
- Strong adaptability in dynamic unstructured and fastchanging environments with the ability to quickly assess trends and make informed decisions that align with organizational objectives.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization both internally and externally.
- Experience with ERP systems and finance systems (e.g. Netsuite SAP Oracle Workday) and affinity for automation and Artificial Intelligence.
