Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled CATIA resource with expertise in macros to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting our design and engineering projects using CATIA software particularly focusing on creating and optimizing macros for automation and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain CATIA macros to automate repetitive tasks and enhance productivity.
Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand project requirements and translate them into efficient CATIA solutions.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for CATIA software issues related to macros and automation.
Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate team members on CATIA macros and best practices.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in CATIA software and macros development.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Computer Science or a related field.
Proven experience working with CATIA software specifically in developing macros.
Strong proficiency in VBScript or C# scripting languages for CATIA macros development.
Ability to analyze complex engineering problems and propose efficient CATIA solutions.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
Experience in the automotive or aerospace industry is preferred.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
Knowledge of CAD modeling and design principles.
Familiarity with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems and integration with CATIA.
Certification in CATIA V5/V6 or related software.
