Job Description

Job Title: SAP Project Manager

JOB TYPE:

FullTime

Hybrid in Houston TX

JOB SUMMARY:

Our public sector client is embarking on a transformative journey to migrate from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA using RISE with SAP Private Cloud. We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead and oversee this strategic initiative. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP implementations cloud migrations and managing largescale projects within the public sector.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead the endtoend SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration using RISE with SAP Private Cloud ensuring alignment with project goals timelines and budget constraints.

Develop and execute a comprehensive project plan including scope timelines risk management resource allocation and stakeholder engagement.

Coordinate with key stakeholders including government agencies SAP partners system integrators and internal IT teams to ensure seamless migration and adoption.

Oversee data migration strategy including data cleansing validation and cutover planning.

Ensure compliance with public sector regulations security policies and data governance standards.

Manage system testing user acceptance testing (UAT) and training programs to facilitate smooth transition and adoption.

Mitigate risks resolve issues and proactively address project roadblocks.

Drive change management strategies to ensure business continuity and user adoption postmigration.

Provide regular project status updates reports and executive briefings to stakeholders.

Requirements

Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP project management including at least 3 SAP S/4HANA migration projects (preferably in the public sector).

Extensive experience with RISE with SAP (Private Cloud Option) and cloudbased SAP deployments.

Proven ability to manage fullcycle SAP implementations and migrations including project scoping blueprinting testing deployment and postgolive support.

Strong understanding of public sector processes regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks.

Transit Industry experience strongly preferred.

Handson experience with SAP Activate methodology and agile project management frameworks.

Expertise in stakeholder management vendor coordination and crossfunctional team leadership.

Excellent communication problemsolving and risk management skills.
