Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer Force & Moment to join our team in Hanover Germany. In this role you will be responsible for designing conducting and analyzing force and moment tests for our cuttingedge products in the automotive industry.
- Design and set up test methods for force and moment measurements
- Develop and implement test plans and procedures
- Operate and maintain sophisticated test equipment and data acquisition systems
- Conduct force and moment tests on flattrac systems
- Analyze test data using statistical methods and specialized software
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports and present findings to crossfunctional teams
- Collaborate with design engineers to improve product performance based on test results
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Continuously improve testing methodologies and processes
- Support development of software tools for test preparation and data analysis
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during testing
Qualifications :
- Academic degree in Mechanical Engineering Natural Sciences or related field; Masters degree preferred
- Several years of experience in tire development or tire testing
- Proficiency in force and moment testing methodologies and equipment
- Experience with statistical analysis software (e.g. MATLAB Python)
- Understanding of vehicle dynamics or tire mechanics
- Knowledge of sensor technologies and instrumentation
- Experience with test equipment operation and maintenance
- Fluent German and English language skills (written and spoken)
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fastpaced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally to other test machine locations
