Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team in Victor United States. As a Maintenance Assistant you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our facilities ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for all occupants.
- Complete work orders and general maintenance projects throughout the community
- Perform repairs and prepare apartments for new moveins
- Conduct installations and repairs involving plumbing electrical equipment and carpentry
- Handle painting equipment repair pressure washing and basic landscaping tasks
- Order and organize maintenance supplies as needed
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient completion of projects
- Maintain accurate records of completed work and inventory
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations at all times
- $19 $21/hr
- Full time overnights 34 10 shifts)
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Carpet cleaning experience is required
- General mechanical and/or electrical knowledge is preferred
- Basic understanding of plumbing electrical systems and carpentry
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools
- Strong problemsolving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication abilities with a positive attitude
- Selfmotivated with a cando approach to tasks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
- Attention to detail and commitment to highquality work
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record may be required
