Job Description
Primary Responsibilities & Skills:
- Perform milling machine and other equipment preventative maintenance and repairs
- Troubleshoot repairs with CAM programs via phone and email
- Perform CAM for Full Arch and other complex restoration millings
- Perform dental model digital scanning with 3Shape scanning system
- Keep all milling machines milling until queues are empty
- Responsible for the timely loading and unloading of mills
- Responsible for understanding and monitoring the software of all milling machines
- Ensure quality control standards for cases are maintained
- Accept download and process Inter Oral Scans (IOS) cases
- Design digital models for 3D printing production then postprocess and articulate printed models
- Postprocess and articulate printed models
- Assist surgical guide production with nesting printing postprocessing using ultrasonic cleaning and curing equipment grinding and polishing
- Assist in skills training of new team members
- All other duties as assigned or as otherwise required
Qualifications :
- 5 years dental laboratory experience as a CAD/CAM laboratory technician required
- Extensive experience and knowledge in softwares and programs such as 3Shape EXOCAD Microsoft Office Applications (Word Excel etc. Photoshop and/or audio applications
- CDT certification preferred
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail a must
- Milling center environment computerbased workstation. Benchwork with high speed and lowspeed handpieces
Additional Information :
*Qualified candidates with 5 years of relevant experience are eligible for a sign on bonus of $1000 after 120 days of continuous employment.*
