Job Description
Job Title: Interior Carpenter
Contract Details: Temporary
As an interior carpenter you will be responsible for working on a variety of projects including residential and commercial properties. You will work closely with our team of carpenters project managers and clients to ensure the successful completion of each project.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints drawings and specifications to determine project requirements
Measure cut shape and join materials using hand and power tools
Install and repair structures and fixtures such as windows doors cabinets and molding
Construct building frameworks including walls floors and ceilings
Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures
Work with other tradespeople such as electricians and plumbers to complete projects
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations on all job sites
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project goals are met
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an interior carpenter
Knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Proficient with hand and power tools
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
Must be able to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
