A leading payment aggregator and provider of secure payment solutions is looking for a Direct Sales Representative to join their growing team.
The main purpose of the role is to take responsibility for step growth in transaction volumes through servicing product specific opportunities effectively and through the onboarding of new potential billers.
Responsibilities will include:
- Build and maintain a strong reputation for sales excellence and relationship management in the field.
- Grow transaction volumes by servicing existing billers and ensuring continued engagement.
- Source and onboard new billers for the client
- Establish a trusted advisor relationship with key biller Stakeholders.
- Actively engage with billers at markets expos and events to promote and sell.
- Explore innovative new solutions and collaborate across the business to grow the client.
- Act as the key interface between billers / prospects and departments.
- Maintain the clients marketing presence in conjunction with the internal team.
- Liaise internally to ensure operations pertaining to the clients billers run smoothly.
- Track and report key business opportunities sales analysis and forecasts solutions and query management.
Minimum requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualification preferable;
- 2 5 years experience in the sales / payments / financial industry with referenceable sales and relationship management experience;
- Experience in outbound sales;
- Understanding of payments environment would be highly beneficial;
- Drivers license and the ability to travel;
- Fluent in English and a good understanding of Afrikaans. Any additional language will be seen as beneficial.
- Based in Stellenbosch
- On site with some fieldwork going to events expos markets (like the Oranjezicht market etc)
- Budget R25 000 R28 000 per month (depending on the candidates experience
