Job Description
Locations: Albany NY Buffalo NY Meriden CT
Work Schedule: Hybrid 3 days inoffice per week)
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to support our Renewable Energy team in designing and developing solar battery energy storage and other renewable energy projects. This role involves site planning grading stormwater management and permitting compliance for largescale renewable developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site feasibility visits and assist with preliminary layouts.
- Design comprehensive solar site plans structural drawings and engineering calculations.
- Prepare construction documents for permit approvals and project .
- Support permitting applications and ensure compliance with SEQR DEC stormwater regulations and local codes.
- Collaborate with clients engineers contractors and internal teams to deliver highquality projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (preferred).
- 8 years of civil/site design experience.
- EIT or PE certification preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
