Job Description

Key duties and responsibilities
The Test Lead is responsible for the planning and oversight of testing activities to ensure the delivery of highquality systems and solutions. The role manages testing strategies across the MPI program.
The Technical Program Management Office (TPMO) will provide centralised technical support functions through the standardisation of technical controls policies processes and provision of consistent governance and assurance.
The TPMO Governance and Control support team will review and allocate TPMO resources across MPI projects as required including attendance at project inception and project control group meetings.
MPI projects are to be delivered in accordance with the MPI TPMO Design Management Guide. The Guide will be provided to the Supplier as part of Work Order startup.
MPI has two centralised offices that support delivery of projects. They are the Technical Program Management Office (TPMO) and the System Delivery Management Office (SDMO).
The TPMO will provide the following key functions:
- Solution governance and assurance
- Baseline management (schedule finance solution)
- Change control
- Reporting
- Solution governance and assurance
- Engineering governance and assurance
- Test governance and assurance
- ITSM governance and assurance
- Security assessment
- Security governance and assurance
Requirements

Submitted candidates must be suitably security cleared and be proficient at the SFIA code and level TEST Level 6. Candidates should align criteria responses to demonstrate proficient at the required SFIA level.
- Proficiency aligned with TEST Level 6 SFIA 7.
- Relevant qualifications in Software Engineering Computer Science or equivalent.
- Experience in automated manual and performance testing.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and tools (e.g. Selenium JIRA).
- Previous Defence experience is highly regarded
- NV2 Security Clearance
- Develop and maintain test strategies plans and cases.
- Manage and oversee endtoend testing efforts.
- Lead test teams allocating resources effectively.
- Conduct reviews to ensure compliance with organisational and industry standards.
- Provide guidance on riskbased testing approaches.
- Monitor testing progress identify bottlenecks and implement corrective measures.
- Foster a culture of quality assurance and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to resolve issues.
- Report on test outcomes and provide actionable insights.
- Evaluate and recommend testing tools and frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Effective communication skills for technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Ability to work in fastpaced and dynamic environments.
