Job Description

We are looking for a permanent Accounts Payable Officer to join our ASX listed company working in a small but varied team offering a hybrid working environment!

What is this role about 

The Accounts Payable Officer provides a range of financial processing services for its related entities and is responsible for performing the daytoday activities associated with the timely and accurate processing of payments. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Review and verify valid tax invoices and ensure accuracy and compliance with financial policies controls and procedures
  • Prepare weekly payment runs to ensure timely payments  
  • Engage with Vendors and Internal staff assisting with invoice and account queries
  • Administer creation/modification of Vendor accounts
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on AP processes
  • Ensure appropriate approvals and delegation of authority is assigned and obtained  
  • Administer Corporate Cards and expense claims 

Qualifications :

About You 
To be successful in this position you will have the following skills and experience: 

  • Proven accounts payable experience in a similar role
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to interact with key stakeholders
  • Strong work ethic and can prioritise multitask and work within set frameworks
  • Computer literacy Outlook Word & Excel
