We are seeking a detailoriented and customerfriendly Cashier to join our team in New Orleans LA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling transactions providing excellent customer service and maintaining an organized checkout area. Responsibilities
- Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently using the pointofsale system
- Handle cash credit and debit card transactions while ensuring proper payment processing
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Assist customers with inquiries and provide product information as needed
- Monitor stock levels at checkout and restock essential items when necessary
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and security
- Support store team members in maintaining overall store cleanliness and organization
Qualifications :
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic math skills and familiarity with pointofsale systems
- Dependable punctual and able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
