Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic primary school in Hillingdon. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with proven primary school experience who is ready to make an impact from day one. The position is available for an immediate start on a fulltime temporary or permanent basis depending on the successful candidates preference.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students both in the classroom and during group activities
  • Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons
  • Help maintain a positive learning environment and support classroom management
  • Work with children to reinforce learning offering additional support to those who need it
  • Assist with the preparation and organization of classroom materials and resources
  • Support students with diverse learning needs ensuring their full participation in all activities

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds proven experience as a Teaching Assistant within a primary school setting
  • Has strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and classroom practices
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Is committed to supporting the academic and emotional development of children
  • Is proactive adaptable and able to work effectively within a team
  • Holds a relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning)
