Job Description
Pay Rate: $ 23.50 / hour
We have partnered with a Nonprofit Organization in the Fort Sill OK area to provide them with a HVAC Mechanic. Please review the description below and let us know if you are interested.
Prioritized must haves for the HVAC Mechanic:
#1. At least five years of HVAC experience or a combination of experience and formal vocational training.
#2. EPA Universal Certification.
Requirements for the HVAC Mechanic:
- At least five years of HVAC experience or a combination of experience and formal vocational training.
- EPA Universal Certification.
- Mechanical Journeyman License preferred. Ability to obtain within three years recommended.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to cut modify thread repair and install steel or copper piping for natural gas or water piping using threading machines mapp gas or pro press.
- Requires ability to use hand tools power tools and equipment required for installation maintenance and repair.
- Ability to effectively read write and speak the English language.
- Ability to work as a team member.
- Selfstarter able to work with minimal direction and supervision.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to pass criminal drug and driving screening.
- Possess valid drivers license and maintain good driving record.
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance and base access to assigned site(s).
- Required to be able to lift 50 lbs. up to 10 times per day.
- Regularly required to stand walk and climb ladders.
- Frequently required to kneel squat bend and reach.
Other Key Requirements:
- On site role
- No sponsorships or visa holders. No CorptoCorp.
- This position has set hours of MondayFriday 7:30 am to 4:00 yearround with minimal overtime.
