Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated ECT looking to begin your teaching career in a supportive and welcoming school A fantastic primary school in Wandsworth is seeking an ECT to join their team in September!

ECT Primary Teacher September Start

Location: Wandsworth London
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: M1 (Outer London)

The Role

As an ECT you will:

  • Plan and deliver exciting and engaging lessons tailored to KS1 or KS2 students.
  • Create a positive classroom environment where children feel safe inspired and eager to learn.
  • Assess and track progress providing constructive feedback to support student development.
  • Encourage independence and critical thinking preparing students for the next stage in their learning journey.
  • Work closely with colleagues to share ideas best practices and contribute to the wider school community.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians celebrating student progress and addressing any challenges.
  • Engage in professional development and take advantage of excellent mentoring opportunities.

What Were Looking For

  • A Bachelors degree in Education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Passion for teaching in KS1 or KS2 and a commitment to inspiring young learners.
  • A solid understanding of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students staff and parents.
  • A proactive adaptable and enthusiastic approach to classroom teaching.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to learn from experienced colleagues.
