Job Description

Were looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Year 5 Teacher to join our vibrant goodrated 2form entry primary school in Barking starting in April 2025! This is a fulltime permanent role where youll have the opportunity to motivate challenge and inspire Year 5 students helping them excel academically and develop personally. What Youll Be Doing

  • Inspiring Year 5 students: Plan prepare and deliver exciting engaging lessons that challenge and motivate Year 5 students in literacy numeracy and beyond.
  • Supporting growth: Help students develop the skills they need as they prepare for the transition to Key Stage 2 and secondary school.
  • Creating an engaging classroom: Foster a positive and dynamic classroom environment where learning is fun interactive and studentcentered.
  • Tracking progress: Regularly assess student progress provide constructive feedback and set clear goals to help students achieve their best.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and deliver a creative cohesive curriculum.
  • Communication with parents: Build strong relationships with parents keeping them informed of their childs progress and addressing any concerns.
  • Professional development: Participate in staff meetings training opportunities and school events to continue growing as an educator.

Who Were Looking For

  • A qualified Year 5 Teacher with experience teaching Key Stage 2 or a passion for teaching at this level.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A solid understanding of the National Curriculum and how to effectively teach Year 5 students.
  • A team player who thrives on collaboration and sharing ideas.
  • An effective communicator who can build strong relationships with students parents and colleagues.
  • Someone dedicated to ongoing professional growth and committed to delivering highquality education.
