Reception Teacher Fantastic Opportunity in Barking
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Reception Teacher for a thriving 2form entry school in Barking starting in April 2025. This is a fulltime position. Interviews will be held as soon as possible.

Reception Teacher Responsibilities
- Plan prepare and deliver engaging and interactive lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Create a stimulating and nurturing environment that supports childrens early development.
- Foster independence curiosity and a love for learning through playbased and structured activities.
- Assess and track childrens progress identifying next steps and providing individualized support.
- Work closely with teaching assistants colleagues and parents to ensure every child thrives.
- Build strong relationships with parents providing regular updates on childrens progress and wellbeing.
- Participate in school events meetings and professional development opportunities.
Reception Teacher Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Education or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Previous experience teaching in Early Years (Reception or Nursery).
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and early childhood development.
- Passion for creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A team player with a positive and flexible approach.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and best early years teaching practices.
