Your Role as an English ECT
As an English ECT you will be responsible for:
- Planning and delivering engaging challenging and creative English lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
- Differentiating instruction to meet the diverse needs of students ensuring every learner is supported and challenged.
- Collaborating with your mentor and the wider department participating in regular training sessions to continually develop your teaching practice.
- Encouraging a love of English literature and language fostering creativity critical thinking and academic excellence.
- Contributing to extracurricular activities and the wider life of the school further enhancing the student experience.
What We Are Looking For
- A passionate and motivated English graduate with QTS (or working towards it).
- A strong desire to deliver engaging and inspiring lessons with a focus on creativity and student development.
