Job Description

Vehicle Technician
Salary:(Depending on experience)
Location: Chesterfield

Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician with a passion for delivering topquality work
Were looking for a skilled and dedicated Vehicle Technician to join a growing independent garage in Chesterfield. If youve got at least 2 years of mechanical experience including the removal and refitting of diesel and petrol engines and a drive to work in a fastpaced customerfocused environment we want to hear from you! About the role
As a Vehicle Technician youll play a crucial role in diagnosing repairing and servicing a wide range of vehicles. Working within a supportive and experienced team youll be expected to carry out repairs to the highest standards ensuring all vehicles are safe reliable and roadworthy. Your work will also contribute to maintaining the excellent reputation of the garage.

Our client is a wellestablished independent garage based in Chesterfield known for its expertise in both traditional and modern vehicle repairs. Specialising in insurance work fleet repairs and the latest hybrid and electric vehicle technology this garage prides itself on delivering highquality service with a focus on customer satisfaction. The team is experienced friendly and dedicated making it a fantastic place to grow your career as a Vehicle Technician.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM 4:00 PM
  • No weekend work required!

Key Duties

  • Perform diagnostic work and repairs on a variety of vehicles.
  • Complete regular maintenance and servicing in line with manufacturer specifications.
  • Ensure all work is completed in a timely manner following industry standards.
  • Remove and refit diesel and petrol engines as required.
  • Communicate with the team and customers effectively providing accurate updates on work being carried out.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace adhering to health and safety regulations.

Key Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Vehicle Technician.
  • Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work on various vehicle makes and models.
  • Experience in a workshop environment with a proven track record of delivering highquality repairs.
  • Experience with removing and refitting diesel and petrol engines.
  • A valid UK driving license.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
  • Ideally experience working on hybrid and electric vehicles (desirable but not essential).
