The Opportunity

AlediumHR is seeking a dynamic and strategic Global Controller to lead our clients accounting operations and drive financial excellence. The position is based in Charlotte NC.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Accounting Officer this highimpact role offers the opportunity to lead a team of accounting professionals in a fastpaced global environment.

The Global Controller will be at the forefront of financial strategy overseeing accounting finance transformation SEC reporting SOX compliance internal controls and the monthly close process. Beyond the finance function this leader will work closely with external stakeholders and the Audit Committee ensuring financial integrity and supporting strategic business decisions.

As a key member of the finance leadership team the Global Controller will collaborate across the organization ensuring financial processes support business growth enhance operational efficiency and mitigate financial risk. This individual will also play a crucial role in developing a highperforming accounting team while fostering a culture of excellence innovation and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Financial Management & Compliance

• Lead global accounting operations ensuring accuracy integrity and compliance with U.S. GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Implement and uphold robust SOX compliance financial controls and reporting procedures.
• Oversee the monthly and yearend close processes identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency.
• Direct external audit activities and maintain strong relationships with external auditors.
• Provide technical accounting expertise interpreting new pronouncements and ensuring adherence to evolving standards.

Operational Leadership & Strategic Partnership

• Act as a trusted advisor to the CFO and executive leadership team driving financial strategies and business initiatives.
• Partner crossfunctionally with FP&A Treasury Investor Relations Commercial Finance and Tax to align financial operations with business objectives.
• Support M&A due diligence and integration collaborating with legal and finance teams on acquisitions dispositions and financing transactions.
• Continuously refine and optimize financial processes and systems including ERP implementations and enhancements.
• Build and develop a highperformance accounting team fostering growth collaboration and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

• CPA required; Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA preferred).
• 10 years of senior finance leadership experience within publicly traded companies.
• Proven success leading large multinational accounting teams in a matrixed environment.
• Expertise in U.S. GAAP SEC reporting SOX compliance and financial controls.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to navigate both strategic and tactical financial challenges.
• Experience managing external audits internal controls and compliance initiatives.
• Background in ERP system implementation and process optimization.
• Exceptional leadership and teambuilding capabilities with a track record of developing highperforming teams.
• Strong communication skills capable of presenting complex financial information clearly and effectively.
