Job Description

Get to Know the Team

The Communications team tells the Grab story around the world. It will drive Grabs growth by promoting and protecting its brand and reputation ensuring its position as the leading onlinetooffline mobile platform in Southeast Asia.

Whether its speaking to media and online influencers industry commentators thought leaders or the wider community the Communications team is the voice of Grab.

Get to Know the Role

You will report to the Corporate Communications Lead and work with teams in multiple Southeast Asian countries. You are passionate about Grabs mission and have a proven track record of executing highprofile creative campaigns and handling corporate issues and public affairs matters.

You can distill key business objectives into a communications strategy is great at managing senior stakeholders and collaborating with Marketing and Public Affairs teams and willing to deepdive into local issues and regulations.

You will be based onsite at Grab Petaling Jaya office Malaysia.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • Provide direction and support for country PR teams particularly for policy comms and crisis & issues
  • Develop positioning and multiformat toolkits on Grabs strategic themes for country use
  • Lead comms strategy for change management projects in collaboration with crossfunctional regional teams such as marketplace tech regional ops etc
  • Play the role of regional enabler for country PR teams set and track OKRs pilot new PR initiatives share best practices and drive process improvements to improve the quality of work and operational efficiency of country teams

Qualifications :

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • 12 or more years of experience: Corporate reputation management policy communications crisis management media relations integrated communications data storytelling
  • Experience managing teams and diverse crossfunctional stakeholder relations in ambiguous environments
  • Regional and/or inmarket experience in key Southeast Asian countries and in a fastpaced company
  • Selfstarter who is motivated by handson challenging work
  • Excellent writing strong project management and processoriented
