Job Description
Our firm is seeking a dedicated Clinician who thrives in a supportive yet independent role. If you are passionate about excellence in trauma recovery and want to be part of a team that makes a real impact we would love to connect with you!
Location: Fairfax VA United States.
Key Responsibilities & Expectations:
- Provide personalized outpatient individual and family treatment with hybrid opportunities available.
- Deliver childsensitive developmentally appropriate therapeutic interventions that respect gender differences and cultural diversity.
- Set your own schedule with afterschool evening and weekend hours often requested to meet client needs.
- Preferred candidates are committed to maintaining a minimum caseload of 12 weekly client hours.
- Utilize a diverse range of treatment modalities for children adolescents adults and families.
- Modalities include Expressive Therapies (play sand art yoga) EMDR Filial Therapy Sensory Integration CBT and Theraplay among others.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
- Virginia Licensure (LPC LCSW LMFT or equivalent).
- At least three years of experience working with children adolescents and families.
- Advanced training or certification in trauma treatment expressive therapies or play therapy (preferred).
- Strong interpersonal skills to seamlessly integrate into a supportive dynamic team.
- A commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment.

The Gil Institute for Trauma Recovery & Education LLC is an evidencebased group private practice that provides trauma and practice informed mental health services to individuals especially young children who have endured traumatic experiences. We use a systemic contextual lens to consider the family functioning and support related health.
Under the leadership of Dr. Eliana Gil and Myriam Goldin the Gil Institute for Trauma Recovery and Education remains the leading practice in our region providing expert care for children adolescents and families affected by trauma.
In this role you will prioritize excellence in trauma recovery and care for patients. This clinician would provide inperson outpatient individual and family treatment.
