Job Description
- Location:Tucson AZ
- Salary:$150K$170K
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of estimators
- Ensure accurate and competitive bids for construction projects
- Evaluate bid opportunities and identify risks
- Improve project estimates and overall estimating processes
- Assist and mentor estimating staff
- Review bids for accuracy and alignment with project goals
- Prepare quantity takeoffs and maintain labor/equipment rates
- Analyze project plans to identify risks and opportunities
- Participate in prebid meetings and site tours
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Engineering Construction Management or equivalent experience
- 15 years of construction experience (if no degree)
- Strong understanding of construction processes including crew sizes equipment rates and material costs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HCSS estimating software
- Valid drivers license
- Ability to pass preemployment and random drug screenings
