Job Description
Hiring: Civil & Structural Inspector / Supervisor
We are hiring on behalf of our client for the role of Civil & Structural Inspector / Supervisor.
Job Purpose:
- Review and understand project specifications procedures AFC & shop drawings and relevant international codes and standards such as AWS and ASTM.
- Prepare QC inspection packages for assigned areas/scope of work and obtain approval from the immediate supervisor.
- Conduct/witness quality inspections testing and surveillance (including material receiving fabrication and installation) in accordance with the approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
- Attend project meetings as required by the supervisor/superior.
Required Competencies & Skills:
- Diploma or Vocational Certificate in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the oil & gas industry.
- Proficiency in inspection and testing techniques.
- Strong understanding of steel structure design requirements.
- Familiarity with COMPANY Technical Standards (PTS) is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of industry codes and specifications including AWS D1.1 ASTM and BS.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
