Job Description
Olssons rail traffic experts provide clients with a single resource for services such as traffic signal preemption design grade crossing safety design traffic operations studies and other related services. As a Traffic Engineer for the rail traffic team you will assist with traffic and preemption analysis/design perform site visits assist with plan or study preparation and work closely with others on complex projects.
This role offers a hybrid opportunity to accommodate diverse working preferences and promote worklife balance. Candidates can work hybrid schedules or work out of our Olsson office location in Irvine CA.

You bring to the team:
- 2 to 4 years of traffic or transportation engineering experience
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
- Engineering Intern Certificate (EI) preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to contribute and work well on a team
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (or similar software)
- Proficiency in Synchro (or similar software)
- Strong problemsolving and math skills

Typical salary range for this position is $85835 to $110000 and is commensurate with experience relative to the position.
