Our mission is to enable and accelerate the journey of all applications within DTIT to the cloud by securing cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines through our security products. Our DevSecOps teams provide several monitoring and control mechanisms to keep applications and data deployed into the cloud environment of Deutsche Telekom IT reasonably secure by default. The overall goal is to minimize the risk of security incidents for deployments within the cloud. Adherence to compliance of our stakeholders is one of our highest priorities. To achieve this we are endeavoring to find the most effective and efficient security solution for our cloud environments by adapting certain rules controls and notices with good practices in terms of security and cloud operation.
Description:
You are an interested developer and do not consider cloud security to be a weather phenomenon but an extremely important step for secure cloudification then read on: Telekom and DSO needs you.
Your main duties include:
- Support of complex software projects actively involved in the planning development implementation testing and quality assurance before delivering to production.
- Never stop continuous integration and continuous delivery.
- Develop and implement strategies for automated integration implementation and delivery of cloudrelated security requirements.
- Work closely with other areas and DevOps teams to improve the process efficiency and performance of the software and system landscapes and work intensively on innovative topics and concepts.
Qualifications :
Requirements Profile:
You have several years of professional experience in the DevOps environment.
Furthermore you are characterized by the following knowledge and skills.
Essential:
- Knowledge and experience in Python
- Good understanding of Cloud fundamentals
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Experience with Git and GitLab CI
- Knowledge and experience in shell scripting
- Extensive knowledge of agile development methods
- English is required for daily communication
- Willingness to continuously learn new tools and technologies.
Ideal:
- Experience and knowledge in cloud security and securing the software development lifecycle.
- Practical experience with any cloud (AWS Azure GCP TPCFCI OTC) in a production environment
- Knowledge and experience in Linux and Windows OS maintenance
Additional Information :
Short Business Trip (couple of days per year) can be expected.
