Job Description
The Collaboration Service HUB is searching for a Product Owner for servicecluster M365 Applications focus on SharePoint Online business applications
Our Service Hub Collaboration is looking for a Product Owner for a DevOps team which is in charge of creating and improving several business applications for different business units within Deutsche Telekom in Germany. These business applications are all based on SharePoint Online and mostly also on Power Platform services (Automate Apps and BI) plus sometimes on other M365 services Azure services or an SQL database. This task covers the usual product owner responsibilities for development and operations of various business applications plus giving guidance and support to the DevOps team which is working according to Scrum.
A close cooperation with the business side of each application is needed to understand their requirements and interests. to agree on a rollout process get their approval for a new version of a business application etc.
Your tasks:
Contributing to the requirements analysis and design of new and existing business applications together with several business sides of Deutsche Telekom
Understanding and transferring the product vision to the team
Defining user stories and prioritizing the teams backlog to streamline the of program priorities
Driving SCRUM/SAFe processes in the DevOps team
Leading new release cycles (PSA process support Workers Council approval process communication with stakeholders deployment)
Driving compliance relevant topics for the new features in cooperation with Security and Privacy Champions of the business side (if they exist). Participate in the compliance process to get all necessary approvals for golive of an application
Continuously reviewing and validating increments presenting results to stakeholders
Creating presentations documentations etc.
Cooperation together with other experts of our Hub and beyond and with several business sides
Participate in the Security & Compliance process to get approval from
Qualifications :
Must have technical skills:
Agile methodologies/mindset/manifest/scrum SAFe Jira Azure DevOps
Knowhow of Microsoft M365 services and applications especially SharePoint Online
Knowhow of Power Platform Services primarily Automate Apps (Canvas and Model Driven) and BI
M365 Groups
Azure Active Directory / Entra ID App Registration etc.
Knowledge and experience concerning security and privacy topics and the PSA process
Nice to have technical skills:
MS Teams
Microsoft AI Skills (AI Builder Azure Cognitive Services Azure Machine Learning Machine Learning Operations Copilot Azure OpenAI)
Business processes (e.g. SAFe operational value stream ITIL process) documentation (e.g. BPMN or flow chart) definition and optimization (lead time throughput quality cost kpi)
Stays informed regarding Microsoft M365 roadmap and other modern IT trends
Soft skills:
Willing to take over responsibility
Innovative & curious for new features and technologies
Experience as product owner in leading a team or project
Language skills:
o Good spoken and written communication in English
o German communication skills recommended
