Summerset at Bishopscourt is located in the lovely suburb of Wakari. It is close to the Roslyn village shops Balmacewen Golf Club and public transport. Its only a few minutes drive from Dunedins city centre.
About the Role:
As the Chef you are accountable for the preparation cooking and service of food to agreed standards as well as for the overall efficient and effective management of the team to ensure a quality service is provided to the residents.
Your responsibilities will include:
Ensuring there is full compliance to the approved Food Control Plan
Complying with all food safety requirements and maintaining high level of hygiene at all times
Preparing and cooking set meals to residents satisfaction in a timely manner
Building and managing rapport with direct reports with full accountability for all aspects of coaching and performance development
Qualifications :
About You:
You will be a highly motivated and skilled Chef with excellent time management skills. To be successful you will bring:
Proven experience in managing a successful team in a similar environment
Financial acumen
The ability to empower team by passing on culinary knowledge
Sound understanding of Food Safety Plans
A Chef Qualification is preferred
