Spring Baseball Coaching Positions

Positions Available:

• Middle School Baseball Head Coach

What Youll Do 

The role of an Avenues coach is to instruct our studentathletes in the fundamental skills strategy and physical training necessary to realize individual and team success. At the same time the coach must provide a foundation for integrity pride of accomplishment sportsmanship selfdiscipline goal setting teamwork and selfconfidence. 

Head Coaches will: 

• Breakdown and teach the fundamental skills for players at all levels
• Attend all scheduled games and practices
• Manage and coordinate practice and game plans
• Be responsible for handling all administrative duties related to their team
• Attend all necessary athletic and school meetings and events

Qualifications :

What Youll Bring 

Coaches bring all or most of the following:

• Head coaches have 3 years of head coach coaching experience
• Assistant coaches have 1 years of coaching or related experience
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) 
• Strong organizational skills 
• Ability to work well with student athletes parents faculty/staff and the athletics department
• Current First Aid/CPR certification or ability to get training before the season commences
• Knowledge of the rules and regulations of the sport with special consideration given to those having experience with the desired age category
• Enthusiasm commitment patience and a passion for teaching the game are essential to this position
• Ability to motivate and provide positive leadership to our student athletes by following our school and athletic mission
• Highlevel competitive playing experience (preferred)

Please note that this is a part time and seasonal position averaging 510 hours a week.  Middle School meets 3x a week. Practices are 1.5 hours each and competitions up to 3 hours including travel time. On game days athletes leave between 2:00 pm3:00 pm so candidates should be available at this time as well.

Additional Information :

Coach pay rates range from $2400.00$3500.00 depending on coach level and experience.
