Job Description
About you
We are looking for an EDI Developer with strong Python and SQL expertise along with deep experience in 834/X12 transactions. The ideal candidate will be able to support and optimize the existing workflow and contribute to the migration away from Orderful.
You bring to Applaudo the following competencies:
- Desirable Bachelors Degree or higher in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 35 years of experience in data management integration and manipulation.
- Solid proficiency in Python programming with knowledge of JSON data format and working with SFTP protocols
- Familiarity with EDI concepts specifically with 834/X12 transaction sets.
- Understanding of cloudbased data platforms (e.g. Google BigQuery)
- Experience with CSV/Flat file writing.
- Demonstrated ability in data integration processes and tools.
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Advanced english proficiency is a requirement since you will be working directly with USbased clients.
You will be accountable for the following responsabilities:
- EDI & Data Transformation Assist in removing Orderful from existing processes transforming data from JSON to X12 in BigQuery and improving overall efficiency.
- Process Optimization Review SQL scripts and process documentation in BigQuery to ensure the best approach is being taken for file generation.
