Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Supervisors to supervise our SLPAs Qualified SLPs with a passion to mentor and guide SLPAs can work as Independent Contractor to start supervising up to 4 parttime or 2 fulltime (as per the guidelines of California SpeechLanguage Pathology & Audiology & Hearing Aid Dispensers Board).
What You Will Do
- Provide 12 hours of direct/indirect virtual supervision per SLPA per week as outlined by CA guidelines. Total commitment depends on the number of SLPAs supervising. Ex; if supervising 4 SLPAs the commitment would be 510 hours per week
- Provide direct/indirect support supervision and mentoring to SLPAs
Supervision Responsibilities
- 1:1 meeting with SLPAs weekly to review client progress and training for therapy strategies
- Indirect supervision to include documentation review or observations
- Document supervision activities
- Completion of medical model progress notes/discharge summaries as needed for clients 510 minutes per note)
- Follow guidelines as set forth by the California SpeechLanguage Pathology & Audiology & Hearing Aid Dispensers Board

Compensation
1099 $100 weekly per SLPA Supervised
Qualifications :
- Masters degree in SpeechLanguage Pathology
- Active CA State Speech Language Pathologist License
- Active ASHA CCCs
- Have updated Professional Development CEUs in supervision before beginning supervision: Initial 6 hours and 3 hours every other 4 years
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an SLP
- Experience with Language Articulation Fluency & Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
- Experience with mentoring for Early Intervention (EI) up to young adults in a private practice model is a plus
- Experience with Behavior management for telehealth is a plus
- Experience with medical model documentation requirements is a plus
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
