Job Description
Olssons Telecommunications team provides clients with services ranging from long haul outside plant design building entrance design FiberToThex (FTTx) design GIS asset management/fiber mapping services and project permit coordination. As a summer 2025 student intern you will gain an understanding of safety productivity and our impact on the communities we live and work in. We will insert you into the workflow of our team so you can understand the impact you have on real projects for real clients. You will not only work in the office but also have opportunities to get out into the field to visit project sites and clients. Learning all the systems we work in; you will gain valuable experience that will transform what youre learning in school and help you envision your future career.
We are looking for a student intern to work at least 1520 hours per week during the spring semester with the potential to continue working into the summer.
Qualifications :

You bring to the team:
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to contribute and work well on a team
- Pursuing a degree in drafting or engineering
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Word and Outlook
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit
- Previous experience with GIS software (ArcPro preferred)
- Ability to work 1520 hours per week during the school year
- Problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
