Job Description
Olssons Energy team is seeking a Senior Business Development Specialist to drive strategic growth within our Utility market. This role is ideal for someone who has grown up in the industry combining engineering and utility expertise with business acumen and relationshipbuilding skills.
We are looking for a natural connectorsomeone with a consulting background and handson experience in the utility sector who can communicate effectively with engineers and executives alike. This role will focus on developing client strategies identifying new market opportunities and expanding our presence in the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Strategic Growth Initiatives: Develop and execute tailored business development strategies focused on utilities and power delivery.
- Leverage Industry Expertise: Apply engineering and utility experience to provide technical insights and strategic direction for client engagements.
- Cultivate Strong Client Relationships: Serve as a trusted advisor to utilities and energy clients ensuring alignment between Olssons capabilities and client needs.
- Expand Olssons Presence: Identify new opportunities crosssell services and drive revenue growth within the energy market.
- Represent Olsson Externally: Attend industry conferences engage in professional networking and elevate Olssons profile as a leader in power delivery solutions.
We have one current opening and will consider candidates interested in being located out of any Olsson office location.
Qualifications :

You bring to the team:
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to contribute and work well with a team.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field.
- 10 years of experience in the energy or utility sector.
- A background in both consulting and utility operations.
- Ability to work with engineers executives and stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven experience in developing and executing growth strategies.
- Strong professional polish business acumen and communication skills.
- An established network within the energy or utilities industry.
- Willingness to travel 25 for client engagement and industry events.
