Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Security Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing managing and monitoring security measures to protect our companys computer networks and systems.
The Security Analyst will play a crucial role in identifying potential vulnerabilities analyzing security risks and developing effective strategies to safeguard our organization from cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor networks and systems for security breaches or intrusions
Conduct regular security assessments and identify potential vulnerabilities
Develop and implement security measures to protect systems and data
Analyze security incidents and recommend appropriate solutions
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security best practices are followed
Stay uptodate on the latest security trends technologies and threats
Prepare and present security reports to management highlighting key findings and recommendations
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
Certification in a relevant security discipline (e.g. CISSP CISM CEH)
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Security Analyst or in a related role
Strong knowledge of network architecture protocols and security systems
Proficiency in security tools and technologies such as firewalls intrusion detection systems and vulnerability scanners
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
