Job Description
JOB DETAILS
Base Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour plus $1 per hour shift differential
Shift: 2nd Shift 3:00pm to 11:30pm
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Production Associate is responsible for the fabrication and production of the component parts for the final assembly of windows. Successful candidates enjoy working in a fastpaced physically demanding and repetitive work environment which includes heavy lifting or working with your hands. This job description is reflective of tasks that will be performed in a variety of departments. Forklift experience is required.
- Perform repetitive workstation operations to massproduce windows doors and glass units
- May support the window operations in delivering wrapping loading and unloading of materials or windows
- Perform any workstation function using hand or power tools saws welders or routers
- Understand and carry out verbal instructions
- Read and carry out simple written instructions
- Read work orders labels and schedules
- Use a tape measure (will be asked to read measurements during interview) inspect examine and observe for product defects
- Make fraction and decimal conversions
- Operate any equipment needed to perform a job
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Provide onthejob training to new employ
- Reads and performs work as assigned by the department Supervisor
- Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packaging
- Notify supervisor of any mechanical or mater
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- General labor
Qualifications :
- Forklift experience
- High school diploma or GED Previous experience a plus
- Good attitude
- Team oriented
- Dependable
- Energetic
- Flexible with either working day or night shifts and weekends if needed
- Read a tape
- Overhead crane and forklift experience a plus
- Mechanically inclined
