Job Description

JOB DETAILS

Pay range is $33.0038.00 per hour

Shift: 1st shift MondayFriday 6:00 am 2:30 pm

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Diagnose and repair complex electromechanical problems with manufacturing equipment
  • Perform simple to complex mechanical Preventative Maintenance Tasks following instructions
  • Perform detailed setup on equipment including recipe changes and control adjustments
  • Repair and keep mechanical machine components in top operating condition
  • Intermediate understanding of electrical principles such as voltage current and resistance
  • Diagnose and repair electrical control circuits field devices sensors photo eyes etc.
  • Intermediate understanding of electrical safety and motor control circuits and programmable drives
  • Troubleshoot the inputs and outputs on PLC and repair issues found
  • Complete projects to add electrical circuits and controls new equipment and relocate machines
  • Maintain and repair pneumatic systems including repairs of cylinders and other components
  • Enter all work completed in computerbased maintenance program
  • Monitor and report spare parts usage including completing parts order forms
  • Other duties / responsibilities as needed

Qualifications :

  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Must be able to show attention to detail in a very fast paced environment
  • Must be flexible with shift schedules and on call requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
  • Ability to stand for up to 12 hours per day stoop kneel crouch crawl and climb
  • Ability to operate a fork truck articulating lift scissor lift and manipulate tools and/or controls
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures up to 110 degrees

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2year technical school degree desired
  • Minimum 4 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Usage of maintenance PM system
  • Strong usage / knowledge of computer
