Job Description

The Senior Client Consultant is the frontline of the organization maintaining responsibility for mid to large enterprise account engagement development and overall satisfaction. They operate as the main point of contact for clients building strong relationships.  The Senior Client Consultant engages with the media and other vendors in order to maintain a pulse on new and emerging offerings and trends. This role may report into and take direction from a Team Director and/or VP of Client Service. 

  • Day to day management of clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships at all levels of the client organization
  • Retain and nurture relationships with clients internal departments and partners
  • Act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to clients discover new opportunities to work together
  • Maintain a deep understanding of all client dynamics such as business objectives TA needs and projections challenges budgets etc.
  • Serve as clients internal Shaker advocate interacting with Shaker departments to coordinate all deliverables seamlessly
  • Juggle multiple clients and project priorities simultaneously
  • Orchestrate longterm plans to meet client objectives
  • Actively support the team in the preparation of proposals and media recommendations ensuring all goals and objectives are being considered and incorporated
  • Consult on and close customer contracts (Media or other)
  • Responsible for consistent growth and client billings at all levels
  • Confidently sell additional Shaker services
  • Understands Shaker offerings and manages client initiatives within each core category 
  • Followup with departments to ensure requested deadlines are met
  • Understands the process and can provide guidance around the creation of orders and billing processes
  •  Prepare flawless well branded presentations

Qualifications :

  • BA and 10 years of progressive client management experience required; preferably in the Talent Acquisition industry.
  • Demonstrable business acumen and deep understanding of business sales processes
  • Confident negotiation and problemsolving
  • Excellent presentation and ability to interact with clients at all levels
  • Passion for helping others and solution selling listen learn deliver
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in person by phone or via email
  • Intuitive questioning ability to proactively dig into issues to offer the best solution set
  • Intuitive learning able to relate new learning to client needs
  • Detail oriented highly organized and exceptional followthrough
  • Knowledge of current talent industry marketing and advertising trends and best practices
  • Proficient in PowerPoint MS Office Excel Filemaker LinkedIn
  • Works well under pressure and stress
  • Research and Campaign planning
  • Experience in client relationship management
  • Background in advertising marketing HR/Talent Acquisition
  • Ability to work on the front line while nurturing and developing team members as coach and mentor
  • Experience coaching and developing employees and team members
  • Previous agency experience preferred; recruitment related a strong plus
  • Maintain visibility on all relevant social media channels on behalf of the agency by promoting sharing liking and contributing to industry and agency related topics

Salary Range:  $70000 $85000 base salary 22.5 commission and 15 annual bonus potential. 

Average salary commission range: $95000$170000

The actual salary will vary based on applicants location education experience skills and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible.
