Get to Know the Role
As a Senior Analytics Manager you will lead analytics teams working with Product Business Engineering Design and Data Science teams to understand data requirements track key metrics and provide datadriven insights. You will evaluate the feasibility of new business/product ideas and make appropriate recommendations. You will report into the Head of Analytics of a business vertical and work onsite in Grab One North office.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- You will explore business/ product opportunities uncover insights and identify areas for growth.
- You will work with product and engineering teams to design experiments that influence key product decisions.
- You will adapt inproduction models for new markets to enhance product rollout.
- You will direct expert teams to launch products/ services and broaden Grabs data capabilities for deeper insights.
- You will develop and test datadriven hypotheses to address key challenges.
- You will create mixed effect and causal inference models to understand interaction effects or suboptimal product configurations.
- You will establish and oversee anomaly detection systems to alert changes or anomalies in product or system metrics.
- You will develop analytics tools to help data teams and other disciplines with debugging data summarization and result analysis.
- You will support team members in their professional development focusing on both technical.
- You will foster a datadriven culture within the organisation promoting the use of analytics in decisionmaking processes.
- You will stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in analytics and data science.
- You will develop strategies for data collection data governance and data quality control.
Qualifications :
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- We are looking for someone with at least 10 years in Analytics Business Intelligence or Data Science role.
- You have expertise in maintaining high measurement standards designing and analysing experiments using SQL for data queries and proficient in data visualisation tools like PowerBI.
- You have experience with Big Data technologies such as Spark and PySpark.
- You have foundation in statistics and practical experience with controlled experiments in the industry.
- You have experience influencing product decisions based on quantitative analysis.
- You have experience developing data strategies and policies.
- You can explore new business/product opportunities and identify insights for growth.
- You have experience leading expert teams supporting professional development and fostering datadriven culture.
- You can create anomaly detection systems to monitor product metrics.
- You can build analytics tools for debugging data summarisation and result analysis.
