Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Fitter to join our skilled team. This role involves handson work with pressure vessels and heat exchangers where you will play a vital role in ensuring product quality safety and operational efficiency. If you have experience with hydro testing crane operation and forklift use this could be the ideal role for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing hydro testing on pressure vessels to ensure integrity and safety
- Conducting assembly maintenance and inspection tasks for various components in pressure vessels and heat exchangers
- Operating forklifts and cranes to handle materials and large components (preferred but not essential)
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment issues to minimize downtime
- Following all safety protocols and participating in hazard reporting to maintain a safe work environment
- Collaborating with team members to meet production and quality targets
Qualifications :
And heres what were looking for in our ideal candidate:
- Mechanical Fitting Trade Qualification (Certificate III or higher)
- Proven experience working with pressure vessels heat exchangers or similar heavy engineering equipment
- Hydro testing experience is essential
- Forklift and crane operating experience preferred (training available for the right candidate)
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A commitment to safety quality and precision
