Job Description

The Sales Manager GradConnection is a Leadership Team role and reports to the Senior Commercial Manager GradConnection.  Youll leverage your prior leadership experience extensive sales and account management track record and sound understanding of the corporate talent acquisition and early careers market to increase and solidify GradConnections market leading position.  

The role has primary responsibility for initiating developing and fostering relationships with Graduate Hirers and associated organisations by leading a sales and account management team of four direct reports to deliver on financial and strategic goals.  Some domestic travel and potentially regional travel will be required. 

Key responsibilities 

  • Management of team performance and service quality from the AM/BD team 
  • Lead coach develop and grow all team members (establishing talent pipe) 
  • Annual budget setting & tracking for revenue targets and team expenses  
  • Overall accountability for achieving quarterly targets mitigating revenue risks and diversifying hirer product adoption  
  • Drive the retention and growth of customers across GradConnections product and services suite  
  • Segment approach to market and engagement guidelines for AM / BD team 
  • Identify and nurture new accounts key accounts and stakeholders to develop and manage relationships  

Qualifications :

  • Sales / business development experience; specifically within the recruitment/employment industry 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with high attention to detail 
  • Excellent time management and negotiation skills  
  • Strong problemsolving abilities 
  • Ability to lead and develop a Sales Team 
  • Good understanding and management of CRM tools (Salesforce etc.
