Job Description
Her Campus is seeking a creative efficient organized and detailoriented News & Politics Editorial Intern for the summer of 2025. The ideal candidate has a passion for journalism and hard news with their finger on the pulse of cultural conversations surrounding topics our college readers care about including U.S. politics academics global and national issues and viral news.
The News & Politics Intern may assist the editorial team with all things editorialrelated: writing and editing timely news articles working on larger editorial projects and packages interviewing talent and expert sources and creating and optimizing SEO and ecommerce content among other projects. This intern will be given writing assignments for the News Digital Life Career and more sections and will be expected to work on tight deadlines and turnarounds. You will be given highlevel tasks and a lot of responsibility! This internship is available remotely.

Qualifications :

A current college undergraduate with the ability to receive college credit
A strong communicator with organization and strategic thinking skills
Knowledgeable of all Google for Work tools
Hardworking detailoriented efficient and in possession of a creative work ethic
Passionate about the Her Campus mission and all things Gen Z
Knowledgeable of culture and social commentary
Interested in writing editing research college trends and project management
Interested in creating content around news politics academics and trending topics
Additional Information :
All internships are remote and available to current college students yearround on a parttime basis. Interns must be able to receive academic credit and interns are paid a stipend. Hours are flexible.
