Job Description

Tasks (what does the role do on a daytoday basis)

  • Review and analyze the necessary KYC/KYA documents received to onboard new clients and conduct asset KYA analysis for the Asset DD service;
  • Generate and manage reports on AML/KYC data for both investments and clients including creating checklists to track document statuses for each investment;
  • Create various AML/CFT and KYA reports for the respective clients;
  • Support implementation and maintenance of document collection procedures including monitoring shared folders for updates;
  • Conduct checks using screening tools like WorldCheck for name screening against financial sanctions lists PEPs and regulatory enforcement entities;
  • Perform Adverse Media controls;
  • Escalate significant AML/CFT deficiencies and issues to Senior management of the RC/KYA team;
  • Supporting Clients in various queries and participating in meetings/calls when necessary;
  • Provide support to the RC and KYA teams for any adhoc requests from various stakeholders;

Key competencies for position and level

Getting things right and doing the right thing lie at the core of our AIFM team as they make sure were always consistent and comply with current financial regulations. While the role is focusing on AML and Compliance you will need to be a master organizer enjoy variety and a methodical planner. 

Youll need to be thorough in all you do using your own judgment to highlight any significant finds and escalate if rules and regulations are breached. Attention to detail is a must to have.

Every day brings a new challenge so youll need to be a team player at heart proactive and with an eye for detail as well as great organizational skills so you can prioritize your daytoday and meet the deadlines. Building relationships across the business is a must have to succeed and be effective in this role.

With the support of your team and using your own judgement you will need to identify any risks or concerns and report them in a timely manner.

Note that all tasks will be based on Luxembourg guidelines which will be detailed during the training period.


Qualifications :

  • Master/Bachelor in Finance or an equivalent degree
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience in a similar position or an AIFM in Luxembourg a professional experience in AML/KYC would be considered an added value
  • Good knowledge of the Luxembourg regulatory environment for investment funds
  • Exposure of working with third party delegates and service providers
  • Fluent in English; additional language would be considered as an asset
  • Selfmotivated team player and strong customer relationships with clients
  • Basic knowledge of the Alternative Investment (Private Equity Real Estate Private Debt etc);
