At Evelyn Partners we are expanding our Data Services team investing in a largescale modernisation programme to drive innovation and insights. Were building a new team to enhance data modelling reporting AI initiatives and cloud data platforms like Snowflake.

As part of our transformation were growing our business intelligence development team to automate reporting and deliver Power BIdriven insights that empower end users. This means exciting opportunities for learning upskilling and working with the latest technologies.

These roles can be based in Liverpool or Glasgow with the requirement to be in the office to collaborate with colleagues twice a week.

What will you be doing

As a PowerBI Developer you will develop both automated and adhoc Power BI reports to provide guidance with invaluable insights on reducing costs and improving operational efficiency. Additionally you will provide training and support to end users on effectively using Power BI ultimately aiming to drive data literacy.

As a PowerBI Developer your responsibilities will include:

• Design develop and deploy BI data solutions across all our divisions by developing data models and pipelines and reports Power BI dashboards and KPI scorecards
• Collaborate and drive data culture with BI & Analytics stakeholders
• Help drive and evangelise PowerBI as a tool and platform in the organisation
• Synthesize other data sources including customer research competitor analysis and market performance to augment analysis and quality of recommendation
• Train and guide other stakeholders on how to self source analytics and help them facilitate their data needs
• Translate business needs into data requirements and communicate your insights in the organisation

Qualifications :

To be successful in this role you should:

• Validated experience as a BI Developer using the Microsoft BI stack
• Experienced knowledge of DAX and Evaluation Services in large deployments of PowerBI
• SQL skills for querying and creation of views/tables functions and stored procedures and ability to optimize queries for performance and scalability
• Experience in designing ETL processes including knowledge of data warehousing strategies and theories
• Evaluative solutionoriented and creative mindset
