Africa Talent by Deloitte - NL - Indirect Tax Consultant

Africa Talent by Deloitte is seeking a talented Indirect Tax Consultant to join our team in Johannesburg South Africa. As a VAT advisor you will be part of an internationally operating team specialized in advising large companies both Dutch and nonDutch in indirect taxes supply chain optimization mergers & acquisitions audit investigations alignment processes with tax authorities interim VAT management ensuring (foreign) VAT compliance as well as technology and ERPrelated projects.

You will be responsible for the following:

• Advising clients on VAT matters actively in various sectors including automotive consumer products retail wholesale distribution transport and hospitality.
• Close collaboration with colleagues from the team in the Netherlands from other disciplines and colleagues from foreign offices.
• Participation in (international) training and client events
• Customeroriented with the client at the centre of solving issues.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in commerce with Law Accounting Economics
• Approximately 24 years of relevant work experience
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Detailoriented with a commitment to delivering highquality work.
