Inventory Clerks are responsible for ensuring materials flow throughout the facility and may assist in other areas when needed. Performs standardized duties and tasks with some deviation when needed or requested. Resolves routine questions and refers more complex issues to higher levels. All job responsibilities are to be performed in accordance with the companys Mission/Values Statement and its Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
- Processing and data entry of inventory transactions such as work orders moves adjustments receipts teardowns restocks and audit forms.
- Investigating missing product and resolving discrepancies.
- Processing returns and damaged product.
- Help with physical inventories of cycle counts as needed.
- File maintenance of inventory records.
- Using a stockpicker forklift for various required inventory tasks.
- Following customer specific requirements .
- Adhering to facility recycling and material handling practices.
- Communicating with coworkers and supervision in a positive professional manner.
- Complying with all facility safety and work rules; including but not limited to security requirements and following proper procedures for accident/incident reporting emergency evacuation etc.
- Represent RR Donnelley Supply Chain Solutions in a professional manner.
- Identify when an error is presented and take appropriate actions.
- Certifying for forklift operation
- Crosstrain for cycle counting
- Providing backup support to the Inventory Coordinator
The work environment is clean comfortable and climate controlled. The shift is Monday through Friday from 6:00 A.M. TO 2:00 P.M.
Qualifications :
- Proficient computer skills to include excel (including spreadsheets the ability to filter subtotal reports and use pivot tables) wordprocessing database management and email.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure as working on multiple projects with regular interruptions is typical.
- Weekend work and overtime hours may sometimes be required to meet customer demands.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Flexibility and the ability to manage change.
- Ability to communicate and work well with others in the organization effectively and professionally.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
- Maintain fork truck license.
- High school diploma.
- Prefer prior experience in a production atmosphere.
- Ability to instruct and provide feedback to employees.
- Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals.
- Forklift operation experience
- Inventory Control experience 2 years

- The pay range for this role at the noted location is $16.67 to $19.57 per hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon but not limited to: education skills experience proficiency performance shift and location. In addition to base salary depending on the role the total compensation package may also include overtime shift differential callin and standby pay.
