Job Description
SUMMARY: The Quality Supervisor will develop maintain and ensure compliance with quality assurance programs policies processes procedure. The incumbent will provide expertise and guidance in interpreting policies regulatory and/or governmental regulations and agency guidelines to assure compliance and work directly with operating entities to ensure that inspections process control analyses or audits are conducted on a continuing basis as specified to enforce requirements and meet specifications.
- Train and provide development opportunities for staff. Ensure annual goals are complete and communicated.
- Monitor and evaluate team members and adjust training where needed.
- Attract retain and develop high potential talent.
- Model and promote the Corporations Code of Business Ethics and Values.
- Act as a team role model and changeagent.
- Positively lead and influence team members to partner together to achieve individual and business goals.
- Coordinate team efforts create and manage a regional strategy and team operating plan.
General
- Lead ISO process and continuous improvement and quality assurance projects.
- Provide project management and technical leadership.
- Lead crossfunctional team on projects. Communicate and work with all levels of the organization. Manage a large multifunction program or a set of projects.
- Responsibility for quality assurance efforts for assigned area.
- Achieve maximum levels of productivity ensuring that the business benefits from the lowest possible cost and best value.
- Develop analyze and manage quality expenses.
- Provide leadership to select local and/or global quality initiatives.
- Develop and execute appropriate business plans/multigeneration product plans to identify trends opportunities for marketplace advantage and new ideas for products processes and services. Direct quality assurance activities.
- Develop quality Objectives Goals Strategies and Measures (OGSM) for assigned area and confirm linkage to global business strategies.
- Lead benchmarking of qualityrelated topics in support of divisional goals.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree in related field preferred.
- 7 years manufacturing and engineering or related experience with supervisory or lead experience preferred.
- Certified Quality Engineer Affiliation with ASQ or other related certifications and affiliations preferred.
- Sound engineering and peopleleading skills.
- Demonstrated understanding and skills in project and program management including 3rd parties.
- Lean manufacturing Six Sigma ISO or related experience preferred.
- Understanding of applicable computer systems such as Microsoft Office Lotus Notes and function specific software.
- Strong math and analytical skills. Strong organization and attention to detail. Strong scientific and engineering knowledge.
- Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to be an advisor to clients and build strong and sustainable relationships
- Skilled in team building and experience in effectively working with cross functional teams.
