Job Description
American Iron and Metal is currently recruiting for a Skid steer Operator for our location in Cleveland. The qualified candidate is responsible for the handling of materials while operating a skid steer.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Offloading incoming materials from customer or supplier trucks using a forklift and a skid steer.
- Accurately fill orders from pick lists or sales orders and prepare shipments of finished parts.
- Operating forklift skid steer or other equipment to load unload transport and store goods.
- Some general labor duties.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and able to work with multiple departments.
Qualifications :
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of shipping and receiving experience.
- Must have an outstanding safety record and follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Familiarity with WHMIS
- Education Required: HS Diploma or equivalent.
- Steel experience is a plus.
- 2 years Skid Steer experience
