Job Description

Shift: 3rd Shift Only 11:00 PM 7:00 AM

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician II to join our team. In this role you will support manufacturing operations by performing multicraft maintenance focusing on reliability and efficiency. You will be responsible for preventive maintenance troubleshooting and repairs on a variety of production machinery ensuring smooth and sustainable operations. Additionally you will play a key role in process improvements and problemsolving initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using logical systematic methodologies.
  • Perform installation alignment and adjustments on mechanical drive systems.
  • Execute preventive maintenance tasks including major servicing and overhauls.
  • Replace failed parts or components as necessary to ensure optimal machine performance.
  • Conduct electrical system testing and verify circuit continuity using appropriate tools (ohmmeters voltmeters etc.).
  • Install examine repair or replace electrical components such as wiring switch boxes conduits and lighting fixtures.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities to support future maintenance planning.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians and operators on equipment servicing and maintenance best practices.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to enhance equipment efficiency and longevity.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 2year technical degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing or comparable maintenance role.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings schematics and OEM manuals.
  • Working knowledge of computer applications (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook CMMS etc.).
  • Experience using shop equipment including drill presses band saws and portable power tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret precision measuring devices.
  • Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Successful completion of certification testing (if applicable).

  • Continuously improve knowledge of maintenance procedures and equipment through ongoing learning.
  • Complete an annual Maintenance Skills Assessment and participate in training programs.
  • Report all accidents incidents and unsafe conditions immediately to the supervisor.
  • Follow all safety protocols and ensure equipment is maintained in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Adhere to environmental guidelines and handle materials responsibly to minimize impact.

Physical & Environmental Demands

  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements necessary for working safely in an industrial maintenance environment.
  • Ability to lift bend climb and perform tasks in various environmental conditions.
