You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe L3 Network Engineer will be responsible for managing and maintaining our network infrastructure for VPN and Business Partner Access.
This includes overseeing VPN gateways firewalls and load balancers SitetoSite tunnels maintenance of request portal monitoring backup and restore processes.
The role also involves performing hardware patching configuring network infrastructure handling 3rd level IT tickets and coordinating with external partners.
You will work in a dynamic collaborative environment setting of in the direction of DevOps and agile working.
In detail your tasks include:
Service Management: Driving escalation and problem management processes coordinating complex incident and problem resolution with internal IT teams and external service providers providing expert resolution and support.
Prepare changes to the environment and maintain detailed documentation of network configurations processes and procedures.
Steer and coordinate with external partners to ensure seamless integration and support of network services.
Stakeholder Management: Assisting customers with process improvements documentation training and usability efforts.
Network Management: Oversee and manage VPN gateways firewalls maintenance of request portal and SitetoSite tunnels.
Conduct hardware patching and configuration of complex network infrastructure to maintain optimal performance and security.
Monitoring and Maintenance: Ensure and perform regular monitoring backup and restore operations to ensure network stability and data integrity.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of the Access services including processes procedures and user guides.
Continuous Improvement: Performing feasibility studies and IT concepts market research and vendor evaluations.
Qualifications :
Education in IT and network areas.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications such as CCNP CCIE or equivalent.
Experience with network security solutions and protocols.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in network engineering or a related role with a focus on VPN gateways firewalls and load balancers and complex network infrastructures.
Skills:
Strong understanding of VPN technologies and firewall configurations.
Experience with MS Guest Accounts and SitetoSite VPN tunnels.
Ability to solve complex network problems/issues using appropriate diagnostic and monitoring tools.
Ability to handle complex IT tickets and provide expertlevel support.
Proficient in English both spoken and written and intercultural sensitivity.
Experience in automation for onpremise and virtual environments (e.g. Ansible Terraform) is a plus.
Experience in managing external service providers and a very good understanding of IT compliance and data security topics.
Knowledge in agile frameworks ITSM processes and DevOps (automation infrastructure/configuration as code) is a plus.
